  • Junior High Students, Wahsi Squad,  won the Lexus Eco Challenge (STEM based competition) and received $10,000 for their project titled “Saving Monarch Butterflies”.
  • Wahsi Squad was aired on the local television channel and educated the community on the extinction of the Monarch Butterflies.
  • Ibrahim Sayeed, 7th grade won 1st place in the Regional Science Fair.
  • Amira Dadar, 8th Grade, represented Furqaan Academy at the Regional Spelling Bee.
  • Amina Amir (2nd Grade), Naeem Muhammad (2nd Grade) and Rayyan Sayeed’s (3rd Grade), team won in the group activities at the Inter Islamic School Math Bowl.
