As-Salamu-‘Alaykum,
Dear Parents and Volunteers,

We pray that this email reaches you in the best state of Iman and Health on this blessed day of Jumu’ah. We also want to congratulate you for being part of this noble effort to establish the first full time Hifz and Islamic school – the Furqaan Academy of Collin County. Let us remember the saying of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): “Whoever will start anything good will continue to receive the reward as long as people benefit from it.” Our support today for Furqaan Academy will make us eligible to be part of each and every good deed performed at this project – that is every letter of the Qur’an our students are reciting, every time they are making Salat, every time they are smiling and the everlasting benefit of a wholesome education they will continue to enjoy and share with the world!

As we draw near the Inaugural Fundraiser event tomorrow, let us renew our intentions and faith to utilize the remaining time to add to the success of the fundraiser. What else can be done with so little time? A lot! Let us pick up the phone and spread the Salaam! Call your close friends and relatives and invite them to be a part of this Sadaqa Jaariyah – a continuous charity and courteously demand their attendance. We can still arrange advertising opportunities for business sponsors. Potential business sponsors can call Sr. Farina at 972 836 6322 for more details.

Those that are unable to attend can still make a donation, which we can present on their behalf. We need commitments for bigger donation amount of $10-25K before the fundraiser. Parents and volunteers willing to donate a $10K amount or more should contact me directly. And “Allah will grant increase to Charity.” (Qur’an 2:276)

Our keynote speaker: Dr. Abidullah Ghazi, Ph.D Harvard University and founder of IQRA INTL., will be delivering the second Khutbah at Allen at 1:45 pm. He will also deliver a lecture at the Frisco Musalla after Maghrib (8:30 pm). Everyone is highly encouraged to attend these events.

Finally and most importantly: the success of all our efforts will depend on the acceptance, and blessings of Allah SWT. Please take out some time to pray for the success of the Inaugural Fundraiser and Furqaan Academy so that our children can benefit from this project and become the true representative of our Deen to benefit humanity.

May Allah SWT guide, accept, and bless our efforts.

All volunteers are requested to meet us at the Double Tree hotel today at 4:30 pm for an initial orientation and walk through. The hotel is located at 1980 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080. All volunteers must report to their committees tomorrow at 5:00 pm sharp to allow enough time for necessary setup. All guests must promptly report to the registration desk by 6:30 PM as we plan to start the program on time. Babysitting services will be provided.
