It is our great pleasure to welcome Br. Wadud Hassan to the management team of Furqaan Academy Collin County as the Secondary School and After School Programs Manager. Br. Hassan is an experienced Education professional with more than 8 years of administrative leadership and close to 5 years of teaching experience in local public & private schools and college including Collin County Community College, IACC Academy, IANT Quranic Academy (IQA) and Good Tree Academy and the School of Creative Science at Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. His educational leadership experience has been in various roles including as an Academic Advisor, an Assistant Principal, and a School Director.
Br. Hassan is a Higher Education candidate completing his Masters of Education in Administrative Leadership. He has been a member and/or participant of various professional Educators networks including Harvard Aspiring School Leaders, National Association of Elementary School Principals, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Phi Delta Kappa, and Islamic Schools League of America.
Br. Hassan will be managing the Secondary School (6th grade and up) starting next year and will be spearheading the efforts this year to launch quality After School and Weekend programs offering Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and Arabic language classes, tutoring for the core subjects, and other exciting extracurricular activities through employing a team of qualified and dedicated personnel.
