Assalam Alaikum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu,
Dear respected members of the community,
By the mercy and blessings of Allah SWT, we are moving forward rigorously with the planning process of Furqaan Academy’s launch in Collin County in August 2010, Insha’Allah. I sincerely appreciate and congratulate all of you who attended the info session and all who are contemplating on sending your children to Furqaan Academy, so that we can build this great Islamic Institution together. Our noble vision is to establish an exemplary educational institute for the Collin County Muslim community that can provide an Islamic education as well as a PISD approved curriculum.
Based on some feedback we received from our info session, I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify a few important points:
Our main focus at the info session was to introduce the new full-time and integrated Hifz programs that we are going to offer in addition to the comprehensive State Education program. Since most of the parents were familiar with the regular curriculum that will be carried over from the IACC Academy, we did not spend much time at our session. But rest assured, we offer the PISD curriculum along with State-level and National-level standardized testing lead by our well experienced and qualified teachers.
Due to time constraints at the info session and the fact that ALL the teachers and the administration from the Elementary program at IACC Academy were moving over to Furqaan Academy, we did not spend much time with our introductions, besides making ourselves available for each of you to talk to individually. Alhamdullillah we were blessed to have a qualified team of teachers at IACC that delivered exceptional results at a State level as well as nation-wide. They will be continuing to deliver their best at Furqaan Academy. Their bios are available for your review at www.furqaanacademy.org/collincounty/staff.html. Additionally, we will continue to work closely with the PISD and Region-10 for staff development. This provides us with tools and expertise to enrich our classrooms with time-tested traditional teaching methods as well as innovative teaching techniques. We believe in providing our students with a competitive, firm academic foundation to meet the modern challenges of our diverse society without compromising their Islamic identity and prepare them to excel in any field of study they hope to pursue, InshaAllah.
Now that we have passed a few milestones towards our goals and vision, I humbly request your support at this crucial formative stage. To ensure that we are well prepared for our grand opening in August, it is very important that you enroll and register your children before you leave for your summer vacation. This will allow us to guarantee adequate supplies of books and other recourses based on our total enrollments. We have posted a discount offer ($50 off registration) on our website for early registration that expires June 11, 2010. You may register online at www.furqaanacademy.org/collincounty/ or call Sr. Farina or myself at 972-836-6322.
On behalf of the FACC administration and staff, I sincerely affirm our commitment and dedication. InshaAllah with the help of Allah SWT, we request you to believe and trust us with your Amana – your precious children.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan
