Though we have consistently communicated to the community regarding IACC Academy opening the 6520 Custer Road IACC Academy property for sale and Furqaan’s intent to buy it, we have accidentally mailed an unrevised letter where the mention of “IACC is selling the property to Furqaan” and the price of $650,000 may have created some confusion. We apologize as an unrevised rough draft was unintentionally used for mailing. Please disregard this letter if you have received it at your physical address. The correct information is as we have been communicating verbally and through emails that IACC has accepted bids for their school property and Furqaan is asking the community to support us morally and financially to win the bid for the purchase of a permanent school building. All donations are deposited in a separate capital project account and will ONLY be used to purchase a permanent property for the school whether we win the bid for the IACC Academy property or we have to buy another property. UPDATE: Due to dangerous road conditions and severe weather warning, Furqaan Academy will continue to be closed on Wednesday, February 2nd following the decision of Allen ISD. We will update our website and voicemail every morning to update parents regarding school closing/opening decisions which will be in accordance with Allen ISD.

Due to severe weather, Furqaan Academy Collin County will be closed on Tuesday, February 1st. We will follow Allen ISD’s decision to close or delay school on bad weather days (www.allenisd.org). School closing decisions will also be posted on NBC 5 news channel and website (see here). We pray that all our families use caution and stay safe during inclement weather.

The anticipation and prayer of Collin County families to have our own Islamic school is now a reality. Furqaan Academy Pre-school and Elementary school are fully operational while we plan to launch quality after-school and weekend enrichment featuring Islamic/Qur’anic education, Core subject tutoring, Extra-curricular activities such as Physical Education and Arts & Crafts.
